100copies | Light the Night

100copies have released their newest print called Light the Night.

Even if you have taken a route many times in the day, riding at night lets you see it in a different light. Because when day turns to dusk and streetlights glow amber, the familiar can turn into fresh adventures.

This piece of work is dedicated to all the nightriders out there who can’t get enough of the night wind on your face and the moon and stars on your back.

Now glide forth and light up the night.

Douchebags | The Tour Bike Case

Douchebags have made one helluva nice travel case called The Tour. So nice, Team Sky will be rocking these!

Douchebags (DB Equipment) – leaders of hybrid construction adventure travel gear partners with world-class athletes and British cycling’s Team Sky to design a one of a kind road bike bag called The Tour; fully protective, lightweight, compressible and functional road bike bag designed to take the stress off your hands so you can embrace the freedom and just enjoy the ride.

Chrome | The Welterweight Collection

Chrome introduces the evolution of it’s most popular bags in the Welterweight Collection.

In the world of boxing, Welterweight sits between Heavyweight and Featherweight. Not the lightest bags that Chrome makes, but certainly far lighter than their predecessors. Chrome worked tirelessly with designers and their production team to source the lightest materials they could find without sacrificing strength and durability.

Almost all Chrome bags are made with a super-tough 1050 denier nylon exterior and a 1000 denier tarpaulin liner. Through extensive sourcing and testing, the design team was able to find fabrics that could effectively cut the weight in half while still adhering to Chrome’s rigorous standards for abrasion resistance and overall toughness. Clocking in at 500d nylon exterior and 400d tarpaulin lining, the fabric is 50% lighter than that of the non-Welterweight versions of the same bags.

The seatbelt buckle has been the symbol of Chrome bags for a very long time. The first ever to be used on Chrome bags 20 years ago were actually cut out of cars in junkyards outside of Denver, Colorado. That method would prove not to scale very well, thus the Chrome buckle was born. Anyone who owns one of Chrome’s steel-buckle messenger bags or slings can tell you that the buckle is tough as nails, they can also tell you that it adds extra heft to the overall weight of the design.

After working with industrial designers and manufacturers, Chrome created an aluminum buckle that weighs just about half as much as their traditional steel buckle. Extensive stress and load bearing tests have proven it can perform as well as it’s steel predecessor.

The Welterweight Collection is reflective of Chrome’s constant pursuit to evolve styles through materials and innovation. Guaranteed for life.

Team Cadence x Colossi Frameset

This frameset will be equipped with Ritchey components and making it’s debut at the upcoming Red Hook Criterium in Brooklyn, NY.

Cadence Collection is incredibly pleased that with the help of Colossi and our other key partners we are able to launch the Cadence Colossi 2017 team. The team will ride full custom Colossi framesets. Each frame has custom geometry specifically designed for each of our team riders. Cadence founder Dustin Klein designed the entire team aesthetic that is carried throughout the frame and skin suits which features the distinctive Pulsar pattern. The frames have been painted and finished in house at Colossi. Ritchey is supplying the team with the cockpit components from their WCS alloy range.

Dustin Klein said, “Being able to visually build out our first Cadence Factory Team has been a long time goal of mine. Working with Colossi has been amazing. They are incredibly professional while making some beautiful products. There will be a great sense of accomplishment to see the whole team at RHC.”

We have assembled a collective of riders that love Cadence, embrace the lifestyle and live to ride. The team will tackle the Red Hook Series, Rad Race as well as other major European and UK fixed gear crits. We have ambitious aims to be one of the best fixed gear crit teams on the circuit, whilst still having fun and remembering why we started racing bikes in the first place.

Anyhow, Dustin can better explain it by clicking HERE!

Thank you Team Cadence for the photos!
